"Trendy" by Reel Big Fish uses epistrophe to show their emphasis on the fact that they are trendy. They say "it's not so bad being trendy," then two lines later it says "please don't hate me because I'm trendy." This shows that they are trying to show the ups and downs of being trendy. Reel Big Fish is showing that they know how to start trends and be thier own person. The repition of the word trendy shows that it can be good but also bear a burden. "Trendy" is a good example of epistrophe.
